Our statement titled "Comparison of Reverberation Cabin (Alpha Cabin) and Impedance Tube (Kundt’s Tube) Measurements" prepared by Halim Sevim and Mustafa Ceyhan, who work as Analysis Specialists within our Formfleks R&D Center Directorate, was published at the 10th International Automotive Technologies Convention (OTEKON) held on September 7.
Thus, the scientific article prepared by Formfleks R&D Center team was published for the first time in an international convention. At the convention, which was held online this year due to the pandemic, a 12-minute presentation concerning the statement was conducted by R&D team.
In the study carried out within the scope of the scientific article, impedance tube operating with one-dimensional linear waves and reverberation cabin test devices operating with multi-dimensional scattered waves were used for acoustic performance measurements.
The sound absorption coefficients of three different samples, which were measured by test devices within the study, were presented comparatively. According to the data obtained as a result of the study, the correlation of two different test devices with each other were evaluated.
